Problem:

Raja contacted us regarding a persistent leak at the front of the property. Upon inspection, we discovered that water was constantly spilling out of the stop end located at the complete opposite side to the downspout. Further investigation revealed that the underlying issue was not just a failing joint, but a fundamental structural flaw. The entire fall of the legacy gutter system had been installed completely the wrong way round, forcing rainwater to pool and travel in reverse away from the drainage point.

Solution:

We carried out a complete overhaul of the front roofline. This involved removing the existing faulty guttering system entirely. We then installed a brand-new, high-capacity gutter system engineered with the correct gradient to ensure water would naturally and efficiently flow towards the downspout.

Challenges:

Because the original fall was completely inverted, simply swapping out parts was not an option. Correcting the gradient meant the new running outlet had to be positioned two inches lower at the downspout end than the previous setup. Our team made the necessary precise adjustments to ensure the new drop integrated smoothly with the existing downpipe while achieving the precise downward slope required for proper drainage.

Result:

The front roofline now features a fully renewed, properly pitched gutter system. Rigorous water testing confirmed that the new installation handles heavy flow instantly with zero drips or pooling, providing the property with reliable, long-term protection.
