Problem:

Mohammad contacted us to address a severely compromised conservatory drainage setup. The gutter system running around three sides of the conservatory had become completely overfull, packed with a heavy mixture of damp leaves, organic growth, and dry leaves. The accumulation was blocking water flow entirely, causing rainwater to spill over the sides and pool around the base of the structure during wet weather.

Solution:

We carried out a complete manual clearance of the conservatory’s three-sided gutter run, methodically removing every trace of damp and dry debris until the channels were entirely empty. Because this task was part of a larger property maintenance visit, our team also handled hedge trimming, weed removal in the planters, and a thorough jet wash of the block paving and paving slabs to transform the entire outdoor space.

Challenges:

The primary challenge on this job was the restricted access along the left-hand side of the conservatory. A narrow gap between the structure and the boundary fence, combined with an inconveniently placed pile of wood, made maneuvering equipment difficult. Our team took extra care to navigate the tight space safely without damaging the fence or the surrounding area, ensuring every inch of the guttering could be reached and cleared.

Result:

The conservatory gutters are now completely clear, clean, and functioning correctly. Alongside the freshly jet-washed paving and trimmed hedges, the entire property exterior has been left looking immaculate and fully prepared for the autumn weather.
